TECH & ENTREPRENEURSHIP First, I'm a highly self-motivated and inquisitive Lead Innovator at The NEW BLXCK, a media startup that's raising the voices of black creators. Second, I'm the founder of OmniSpace, an innovation consultancy with a focus on tech-for-good and social impact. Third, I'm an Amazon Web Services (AWS) re/Start graduate pursuing a rewarding and challenging career in cloud computing. As well as proficiency in the foundational areas of IT, I am an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner with experience using numerous AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53 and DynamoDB. Cloud engineering offers an invaluable opportunity to apply my skills and tackle challenging technical problems across the cloud lifecycle, while constantly learning new technologies in this exciting and growing industry. I continue to upskill through Udemy courses and would like the opportunity to utilise my existing skills with the goal of becoming a Solutions Architect. AWARDS I’ve been given various awards and scholarships in recognition of my leadership skills including a Top 10 Future Leader Award (ranked 8th nationally), a Princess Diana Award, a Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship, a Baroness Valerie Amos-UCL Scholarship and a David Karmel Scholarship by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. I've interned at Goldman Sachs, Linklaters, Freshfields and Matrix Chambers. LAW & PHILOSOPHY Over the course of 1.5 months, I raised over $106,000 (£80,000) to cover my Cambridge law fees through my crowdfunding campaign ‘#GetDyl2Cambridge’. My campaign attracted over 1,600 donors and was featured in major news outlets including the Times, BBC Radio London, The Guardian, the Metro, and Legal Cheek. I graduated with a 2:1 in BSc History and Philosophy of Science from UCL in 2019. I’m passionate about the rule of law and restorative justice. I volunteer at the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law and was awarded the Best Rule of Law Session of Year as part of its Youth Engagement Programme. I’m leveraging my background in law, philosophy and history of science to be an expert in the ethics of emerging technologies.
