I’ve come to really appreciate finding meaning and merit in the mundane. Lifelong learning can be a soulless drudgery if we fail to manage expectations and blend heart with pragmatism.

Personal failures and setbacks erode self-trust and self-confidence. It’s vital therefore to reflect on the times you got it right and celebrate the effort you invested in pursuits that didn’t turn out as you hoped.

There’s something magical about working in a space surrounded by plants and books with the overwhelming sense of urgency and stress associated with formal education.

Tech and law have much in common. They both shape human behaviour in fundamental ways. Both can be either a force for good or a threat to human decency. Hence the need for democratic oversight, ethical scrutiny and responsible innovation.

All I need in this life are food, shelter and companionship. Everything else is an optional add-on.
